PATIO COVER

Keep your outdoor living area comfortable by installing the Camerons Patio Cover that is designed to install underneath polycarbonate or glass pergolas to reduce the heat and glare, or use alone as a retractable shade. If you have windows in the same area you are also protecting them from the sun without the cost of installing sunblinds to those windows. The patio cover is available in two designs. The pleated patio cover with cord and pulley operation or the spring roller patio cover that is operated with a crank handle or electric motor.  The spring roller version can often be adapted to cover glass roofs of conservatory windows.

If the area is large, several patio covers can be butted together and operated separately which can be beneficial if you wish to have sun to a particular area but not to another area under the same structure.

For complete sun protection, vertical roll up sunblinds can also be installed onto the patio or for the sun, wind or rain protection. Clearview roll up patio blinds keep out the winter elements and yet still permit full view of the outside (see below).

MINUETTE

A Minuette is a very versatile awning, which has many uses including carport, terrace cover or on a larger scale a commercial meeting area requiring shelter from the elements.

It is manufactured from extruded aluminium framing that is attached to a fixture (wall), and also to the ground at the other end. The fabric can be extended to the furthest point at ground level or positioned anywhere in between. Some installations are suitable for motorisation. The maximum size is an 8 metre span by 4 metre projection.

When not in use the fabric retracts back onto the roller but the frame always remains visible in position. Any outdoor fabric is suitable for this awning and as its classification is an awning, a council permit is not NORMALLY required for its erection. If you are renting, it is ideal as a carport/porch as you can dismantle it and take it with you to another location.

The Minuette has two bigger brothers, the MINI and the MAXI. These larger awnings are more suitable and recommended for commercial applications where greater sizes are required. Maximum sizes for these are: -
MINI –  to 6 metre projection
MAXI -  to 8 metre projection
